Sorting list output

The application always displays lists in a sorted fashion. To this end, sorting criteria are selected which are useful in the respective context (mostly alphanumeric, but other sorting types are conceivable). For example, the order status is sorted by the progress of the order processing. To sort a list output according to your wishes, click on the title of the column by which you want to sort the list.

The column currently used for sorting is marked by an arrow. The direction of the arrow indicates whether the list is sorted in ascending or in descending order.

Not all columns of a list can be sorted. The column Action generally cannot be sorted.

You can recognize a sortable column as follows:

The tooltip informs you that the column can be sorted.

The column header is underlined when you move your cursor over it.

The cursor changes.

In general, a list is sorted chronologically unless another sorting makes more sense in the mask's context.

Example

The column Status in the menu SEPA cancellation is sorted by the order in which processing takes place. The sorting corresponds to the sorting of the field Status in the filter criteria of the SEPA cancellation.
