Updating EBICS transport keys

This function is not part of the standard scope of the application.

Explanation

You can update the EBICS transport keys for your EBICS bank access in the application. A key update may be necessary if, for example, the recommended security guidelines for key lengths change.

If your financial institution has provided updated EBICS transport keys, the application will inform you of this on the start page.

Even without a start page task, you can update the EBICS transport keys at any time.

Prerequisite

Your bank access has been fully initialised.

Procedure with start page task

1.	On the start page the task Key length outdated is displayed.
2.	Click on Update keys.
3.	Confirm the key update with your security medium.

Procedure without start page task

1.

Select Settings ➔ User settings, tab Bank accesses.

Click on .

Alternatively, select the bank access for editing and click on Update keys.

Confirm the key update with your security medium.

The EBICS transport keys are exchanged with your financial institution and updated if new keys are available.
