Initialising a bank access

Explanation

To use operative functions, you must initialise a bank access.

To initialise an EBICS bank access, you must use a security medium. The security medium can be for example a key file, a smartcard, a certificate, a security token or a signature app.

To initialise a FinTS bank access, you require your access data, a PIN and a TAN procedure activated by the bank, including a medium for generating or looking up TANs.

Optionally, update the order types available to you or, if EBICS 3.0 is used, the BTFs of the bank access. Afterwards, you can use the functions of the application for which you have the required authorisation.

The application supports bank accesses with the EBICS and FinTS protocol:

Section Initialising an EBICS bank access explains how to initialise an EBICS bank access.

Section Initialising a FinTS bank access explains how to initialise a FinTS bank access.

This function is not part of the standard scope of the application.

A wizard helps you to initialise the bank access.

Prerequisite

The start page of the application is open.

Your security medium is initialised.
